Ohio Statehouse Press Credentials are issued to members in good standing with the Ohio Legislative Correspondents Association (OLCA) and after completion of a criminal background investigation through Accurate Information Systems (AIS). Non-OLCA member press personnel will be processed through security along with other members of the public.

If your OLCA Membership is current, click the link below to begin the background investigation process with AIS. 

Click HERE to request your background investigation. Be sure to save your receipt, you will need the verfication code to submit your applicaition.

Once you receive the result of your background investigation (approx. 48 hours), return to this page and click the "Background Investigation Complete" check box below and complete the application process. 

NOTE: You will need the 8 digit alpha numeric Transaction ID provided at the bottom of your background application receipt email to proceed.
