Robin Belcher was appointed to the Ohio House of Representatives in 2009. Before her appointment, Belcher served as an assistant county prosecutor in the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office working in the juvenile justice, general felony and grand jury units. Belcher has been active in public service throughout her career as a human-rights investigator, as a mentor to students at the Cleveland Job Corps and as an advocate for justice in her community.
She received a bachelor's degree in political science from Bowling Green State University, a master's degree in Public Administration from The Ohio State University, and a law degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
