Ila Marshall Cronin served one term in the Ohio House of Representatives. She was appointed to the following committees:

-and Health.
Ila Marie Marshall Cronin had been president of the East Liverpool women’s Republican organization, head of the Columbiana County Women’s Republican Club, corresponding secretary of the Ohio Council of Republican Women, and a census supervisor. She was a graduate of the East Liverpool High School, the King School of Oratory, and the Iron City Business College of Pittsburgh.
Her occupation was listed in the Ohio House Journal was "Manufacturer of Pottery." She worked as the office manager of the Cronin China Company in New Cumberland. Her husband Daniel M. Cronin (1889-1938) was president of the company noted for Cronin Blue Tulip Pottery.
