Sandra Williams, having served five years as a legislative aide at the Ohio Statehouse, brings unique insight and exceptional credentials to her elected position of State Representative of the 11th House District.
Prior to her career at the statehouse, Representative Williams worked in the field of criminal justice for over a decade; serving in the positions of corrections officer, probation officer, parole officer and mediator, just to name a few. She also served in the United States Army Reserve from 1987 through 1995.
A native of Cleveland, Williams received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Cleveland State University and a Master of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Tiffin University.
Williams is currently a member of the Federated Democratic women of Ohio, The National Council of Negro Women, The Improved Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, and The Black Women's Political Action Committee.
