This flag shows three red stylized stripes and a blue field in the shape of Perry County. A star marks a site on the map. 52 yellow lines radiate from the bottom center. Perry County is the 52nd county in Ohio. Four images represent things that are important to the area. Perry County was established in 1818. It was named for Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry who defeated the British on Lake Erie in 1813.
