Lincoln lay in state in the Ohio Statehouse Rotunda on April 29, 1865. Civil War re-enactors from 1st Ohio Statehouse Light Artillery, Battery A commemorate this event with a replica casket from the Batesville Casket Company of Batesville, Indiana, the company that constructed the original Lincoln burial coffin in 1865.
