Jack Nicklaus, born on January 21, 1940, in Columbus, Ohio, is a celebrated professional golfer. Through his career, Nicklaus earned a total of 118 global, career victories, scored 21 holes-in-one, and was eligible to participate in the U.S. Open from 1957 until 1998. Throughout his golf career, and especially after, Nicklaus has remained dedicated to philanthropic pursuits. In 2004, Nicklaus founded the Nicklaus Children’s Healthcare Foundation with his wife, Barbara. Nicklaus currently resides in North Palm Beach, Florida. Jack Nicklaus was made a Great Ohioan in 2016.
