Ohio Civil War 150 Mustering Out and Concluding Ceremony -- The concluding Ohio event of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War was held Sunday, May 17 at 2 p.m. on the front steps of the Ohio Statehouse. It was a special recreation of events held there in the spring of 1865. Thanks to the Ohio Civil War 150 Advisory Committee, Ohio History Connection and the Army of the Ohio Reenactors. Rep. Stephen Hambley dressed as historical Sen. John Sherman and gave his speech. An 1864 bronze cannon was fired by 1st Ohio Light Artillery, Battery A.
