Groundbreaking was held on November 6, 2013 at the Ohio Statehouse for the Holocaust Memorial. Gov. John Kasich, Senator Chris Widener, Joyce Garver Keller, and the monument's designer, New York artist Daniel Libeskind spoke about plans for the project.
