The Senate Chamber is decorated with marble, pine and poplar, and an eagle carved from wood and covered in gold leaf. Also of note are the shield beneath the eagle and the painted "stone" bracket underneath.

All 33 Senators have desks in the Senate Chamber, and public seating is on the same level.
