The legislators of the Ohio General Assembly formed a team, the Capitol Cannons, and played a vintage base ball (originally two words) with the Ohio Village Muffins on the front lawn of the Ohio Statehouse. They used the 19th century rules, and had a fun time. The final score was: Muffins-16, Cannons-4. The Muffins retained the Richard Schuricht Memorial Cup for another year.
