American Revolution in the Ohio Country - 250The Ohio Statehouse will be CLOSED Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4, in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.

Before the 2021 Veterans Parade in Columbus, the 1864 cannon at the Ohio Statehouse was fired by the VFW Commander Hordinski. The cannon was fired with 1st Ohio Light Artillery, Battery A, the Ohio Statehouse's Civil War reenactors.
