The legislators of the Ohio General Assembly formed a team, the Capitol Cannons, and played a vintage base ball (historically two words) with the Ohio Village Muffins and Lady Diamonds on the front lawn of the Ohio Statehouse. They used the 19th century rules, and had a fun time. The final score was: Muffins-5, Cannons-3. The Muffins retained the Richard Schuricht Memorial Cup for another year.
