In Commemoration of the 10th Anniversary of September 11, 2011, the Ohio Statehouse joined with the Ohio Department of Public Safety to display flags on the West Plaza of Capitol Square. Each flag represents a life lost on that day. The shapes represent two towers and a pentagon space in the center.
