Description

A special exhibit of Ulysses S. Grant’s personal and military effects is on display at the Ohio Statehouse. Artifacts include Grant’s military frock coat, shoulder boards, deed box, portfolio and Civil War chest and chair. The items are on loan from the Ohio Historical Society, the Grant Birthplace in Point Pleasant and the Grant Boyhood Home in Georgetown, Ohio.
