STATEHOUSE CALENDAR

Join us at the Ohio Statehouse, West Plaza from 5- 7 p.m. on June 4, 11 and 25 as you partake in a guided stretching or guided sketching session. There will be two free 45-minute sessions during this time period.

Stretch portion:

Join fitness instructor Yaizmen Fayne of RawYoga614 as she leads class attendes through a 45-minute stretch session on the West Plaza lawn. 

Yaizmen is an experienced yoga teacher of nine years, and is the founder of RawYoga614. She believes yoga should be accessible for all and is proud of the community she teaches. 

All ages, backgrounds and levels of exercise enthusiasts are encouraged to join the fitness community of Columbus at the state capitol building. 

Please bring your own mats as we are limited in our inventory.

Water will be provided. 

Sketch portion:

Join artsit Brian R. WIlliams as he mentors attending guests to sketch the beautiful building that is the Ohio Statehouse on the West Plaza lawn. 

Brian's artwork has been exhibited in galleries all around Ohio, across the United States and in the United Kingdom, including Baton Rouge Gallery, La Luz de Jesus Gallery in Los Angeles, Arch Enemy Arts Gallery in Philadelphia and StolenSpace Gallery in London, U.K. His drawings have also been published in books and magazines in the U.S., the U.K., Australia, Spain, Austria and Germany. 

All ages, backgrounds and levels of artists are encouraged to come. This is a fun free event to share the artistic spirit of Ohioans who want to experience their capitol building in a different way. 

Please bring your own art supplies as we are limited in our inventory.
