STATEHOUSE CALENDAR

Join the Ohio Statehouse Museum and Education Center, along with partners from across Ohio, to learn about inventors and innovations from Ohio with a special tour and hands-on activities with this year’s Family Day!

Attendees will enjoy a variety of activities: 

• Interactive learning stations: Enjoy hands-on activities with collaborations from the National Veterans Memorial and Museum, Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR), The Works, the Columbus Metropolitan Library, and Carillon Historic Park.
• Special story times: The Columbus Metropolitan Library will host invention-themed story sessions. Times to be announced!
• Statehouse tour: Learn about Great Ohioans and inventors with a guided tour. 
• Special exhibits: Learn about Ohio innovations through artwork and the Walz spacesuit exhibit provided by Kent State University Museum and the Center of Science and Industry (COSI).   

Ohio Inventors Day is free and open to all ages. No registration is required.

Looking for a bite to eat or a souvenir? The Capitol Café will be open for lunch, and the Statehouse Museum Shop offers books, science items, and more.
