STATEHOUSE CALENDAR

As the 250th anniversary of the founding of our country approaches, Sons of the American Revolution presents an exhibit of original relics and replicas at the Ohio Statehouse. Two cases in the Map Room have items reminding us of the late 1700s and the beginning of the United States of America. See authentic artifacts including swords, arms and ammunition.  Some modern replicas have been recently made from wood of the Logan Elm tree.  

Visit the Ohio Statehouse to see a timeline of American Revolution flags near the Governor's Office. Take the elevator in the north light court up to level one to the hallway north of the Rotunda. The replicas are from the Captain Howard Miller Memorial Flag Collection, and they illustrate the history of the United States of America and her flags.
