This year, for the health and safety of participants and staff, the Ohio Statehouse Tree Lighting took place online.
Tune in to the Ohio Statehouse’s online Holiday Festival and Tree Lighting Ceremony. This online event is free, open to all ages, and includes music and dance performances, as well as video greetings from historic sites in Ohio. Due to the ongoing pandemic, all in-person events have been cancelled. Governor DeWine and Lt. Governor Husted made video appearances, with special guests Santa and Mrs. Claus lighting the tree.
