Weddings - Scheduling

(1) Step 1: Availability

To have your wedding at the Ohio Statehouse, contact the Wedding and Special Events Coordinator at 614-466-2251 or schase@ohiostatehouse.org for availability. 

 

(2) Step 2: Wedding Application for Permit and Paperwork

You must then complete a Wedding Application for Permit and supporting documents to conduct your wedding on Capitol Square.

(3) Step 3: Send it in

Send your completed Wedding Application for Permit and supporting documents along with your 10% deposit to:

Payment may be made with check or credit card. Please, make checks payable to—Treasurer, State of Ohio

 

Credit cards are accepted. If paying by credit card, please, fill out the Credit Card Authorization form.

 

(4) Step 4: Approving Your Wedding

Upon receipt of your completed Wedding Application for Permit, supporting documents and a 10% deposit, CSRAB will review your Wedding Application for Permit and notify you if your permit is approved or denied.

 

(5) Step 5: Catering

Upon notification of the wedding’s approval by CSRAB, you may begin working with one of the Ohio Statehouse approved caterers. Please note that Milo’s Catering and Banquet Services holds the liquor license and is required to provide alcohol service for all events on Capitol Square.
