Priscilla Mead served in both chambers of the Ohio General Assembly from 1992-2002. She had appointments to four House standing committees:
-Public Utilities (vice chair),
-Finance and Appropriation,
-Transportation and Public Safety, and
-Ways and Means Committees.
Prior to her service in the state legislature, Priscilla Mead was on the Upper Arlington City Council (1982-1990) and Mayor of Upper Arlington (1986-1990). She was a member of the Upper Arlington, Grandview, Marble Cliff and Hilliard chambers of commerce, the Hilltop Business Association, the League of Women Voters, Junior League, Delta Gamma, and First Community Church.
Recognitions for her community service include: the Northwest Kiwanis Service Award, Upper Arlington Rotary Woman of the Year, Upper Arlington Civic Association Distinguished Citizen Award, and Upper Arlington Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year.
