Description
Explore fossils in the building stones of the Ohio Statehouse with special guests Mike Angle and Mark Peter of the ODNR Divistion of Geological Survey, and Dale M. Gnidovec, Curator of the OSU Orton Geological Museum.
Celebrate Earth Science Week with a public tour of the Ohio Statehouse. October 13, 2021 is National Fossil Day.
Visitors will receive a free copy of the new booklet, Statehouse Fossils: A Guide to Fossils of the Ohio Capitol, by Mark E. Peter. An informative poster of Fossils of the Columbus Limestone is for sale at the Statehouse Museum Shop.
