Description

A new exhibit about the 88 counties of Ohio will be unveiled in the Ohio Statehouse Map Room.  The large and colorful multimedia display celebrates the role of Ohio’s counties in the everyday lives of their citizens.  A special feature of the exhibit answers the question, "Why do counties matter?"  

 

It is a presentation of the County Commissioners Association of Ohio, with support from the Ohio History Connection and the Ohio Statehouse Museum Education Center.  

 

This exhibit will be on permanent display in the Map Room, near the giant marble floor map of the counties of Ohio.
